The Youth Tour of Scotland returns in 2013 for its second edition after the successful 2012 instalment.

With four stages taking in Perth, Perthshire the competition is open to both boys and girls with separate events for each gender and is again fully supported by the local Perth and Kinross Council with the full backing of British Cycling and Scottish Cycling as organisers.

Stage one on the Saturday is a long road race on a five-mile rolling circuit around the beautiful village of Forteviot, set to be between 50 and 80km. A city centre criterium follows for stage two on the Sunday morning, in and around the shops of beautiful downtown Perth.

Stage three on the Sunday afternoon is a short one mile time trial in the grounds of the picturesque Strathallan School in Forgandenny before Monday’s finale, a Kermesse-type stage four with racing on a two-mile circuit around Strathallan school and the village of Forgandenny.

Entries are still available to both boys amd girls (individual entries will be accepted and riders put into composite teams for eligibility for the team prize and the wearing of the team classification jerseys)

Entry fee includes full board accommodation and food for three nights - 5, 6 and 7 April 2013.
