Herbalife Leisure Lakes Bikes.com is ready to roll in to 2013 with a great new line-up and fantastic back-up provided by both existing sponsors and new arrivals.

Herbalife Leisure Lakes Bikes.com are pleased to announce the signing of James Sampson who joins the team from Node 4. James brings to the team a wealth of experience; a strong time triallist who has competed in the FBD An Post Ras, finished in the winning team in the Tour of Southland and The Tour Series, was awarded the most combative rider in the Vuelta Leon and King of the Mountains in the Premier Calendar East Yorkshire Classic. Having often ridden as a domestique in larger teams, it is anticipated that James’ strong riding style will suit the team well and that he will be able to utilise his strength and ambition in achieving some great results in his own right this coming season.

The team would like to welcome new riders, Alex Coutts who has returned to the UK from racing in Europe and Asia. Alex brings a wealth of experience from racing against Pro Tour teams. Gary Hand also from Scotland joins the team for the new season. Giles Drake was 1st in the 2011 and 2012 NW Cyclo Cross League, an Elite mountain biker and no stranger to road racing. Will Haynes is a young rider who tried out with the team and the end of the 2012 season and showed tremendous promise. Junior Heffernan joins the team from a season racing in France and Harry Tanfield, 2nd in the Junior Tour of Wales, is on the British Cycling Olympic Development Team and is another up and coming rider to watch out for.

Once again Herbalife as the principal sponsor and will provide Herbalife 24 nutritional products for racing and training which provides a full complement of nutritional requirement for the competitive athlete around the clock. The Herbalife 24 programme provides the athlete with the right ingredients in the correct quantities, to train and recover, without becoming depleted of the essential macro nutrients. Fisher Outdoor Leisure will also be supplying the team with the acclaimed Speed Weaponary – Zipp Carbon wheel sets creating top flight bikes ready for racing.

Team kit will be supplied by Italian clothing manufacturer Santini and for the first year will now be available to purchase through Leisure Lakes Bikes.com, both in store and on line.

The team will be using Specialized S-Works Prevail helmets and offering the riders a choice of Specialized shoes dependent upon rider choice; all backed up by great support provided by the Leisure Lakes Bikes.com’s seven stores based around the UK.

The team's valued colour expert and decorating partner Dulux are once again proud to be sponsoring Herbalife Leisure Lakes Bikes.com and wish them every success in 2012. The Specialized stock of bikes will be kept clean and lubricated by the distinctive and world renowned Muc-Off products who the team would like to welcome as a new sponsor.

Vehicle sublimation is again being provided by Signs Express with their expertise in anything graphical. The Borough, Lancaster is also continuing to support the team as are Citrus Images, providing web and photographic support.
