High Wycombe RT’s Steve Golla secured victory in round eight of the Imperial Winter Series, staged at the Hillingdon circuit in London on Saturday.
The 38-year-old from Monks Risborough took his first win in the E123 race, holding off the challenge of multiple event winner Tony Gibb, the 36-year-old from near Beaconsfield who is now riding for The Pack Racing in 2013.
Another senior rider, Bracknell-based Tom Smith (Felt Colbournes) took third spot, while the E123 Neon Velo Prime was won by Conall Yates (In Gear-Quickvit RT).
In other categories, Surbiton racer Greg Wiltshire, the 29-year-old Kingston Wheelers rider, took victory in the race for third category riders, while Alex Alex Osborne (High Wycombe CC) was second.
Finally, the fourth cat race was won by London Dynamo vet Giles Porter, the 44-year-old holding off Cambridge Univ CC’s Joshua Jones for the win.
