Teams from Raleigh-GAC, Primal Wear, Team Hope, Wheel Base and Team Kuota will also line up for the Elite Men's Criterium on Saturday 19 January for this historic cycling event.

"The indoor circuit will create a different style of racing and will be a massive attraction for the London Bike Show audience."

James Pope, MD, Face Partnership

The first-ever fully indoor criterium in the UK, a 500m circuit built alongside the London Bike Show at the ExCel will host some thrilling racing throughout the weekend, with an Elite Women's Criterium on Friday, Folding Bike races on Saturday and a Penny Farthing race on Sunday.

After debuting for Team IG Sigma Sport at Revolution Series Round 3 in Manchester last Saturday, Ross Edgar will ride for his new team, while Ian Bibby and Dean Downing will compete for Madison-Genesis.

Graham Briggs will ride for Raleigh-GAC after beginning 2013 in style with fourth place at the Bay Crits in Australia on New Year's Day. There's a packed programme of racing across the four days: see the full schedule here

A Media Race at 6pm on Thursday night will feature the BBC's Colin Murray, ITV's Ned Boulting, Daybreak presenter Matt Barbet and cycling writer Richard Moore. ITV Football pundit and ex-Arsenal FC star Lee Dixon will compete in the IG City Challenge on Thursday at 7pm.

A full episode of BeSpoke, BBC Radio 5Live's new cycling magazine show, will be recorded at the London Bike Show on Thursday and broadcast on the evening of Friday 18 January.

FACE Partnership MD James Pope said: "The London Bike Show provides an excellent launch platform for the main IG London Nocturne event. We’re looking forward to replicating the Nocturne excitement in an indoor venue and giving people a taste of the action that will take place around Smithfield Market on 8 June. The indoor circuit will create a different style of racing and will be a massive attraction for the London Bike Show audience."
