Andrew Martin entered the Martyn Dobson Memorial Trophy whilst visiting a cousin in the UK.

Martin, who resides in Australia, went on to win the race, pulling away from a bunch of five towards the end.

The 50-mile race, made up 60 laps, saw quite a gulf in ability with the top five riders lapping the rest of the field.

Halfway through the race, the five got away from the bunch and continued to pull away. There was never any hope of the other riders catching them and the race ended with a sprint, which Martin won comfortably.

Dan Smith, riding for organising team Velo29, finished in second and James adler of VC Briganti - Cycleways RT was third.

In the support race, Martin Axon of Velo29 RT took the win, leading from Bonshakersbikes.com’s Paul Lamb.
