East Midlands coach Steve Palmer has been in touch with news of a new series of coaching session aimed at Youth A, B and C riders in the region. This is what he has to say about the sessions:
Following on from the very successful Track Cluster were now moving onto the road. Pooling coaches from East Midlands Clubs the region will be running coaching sessions at Darley Moor, Fortnightly on Wednesday Evenings for 2 hours. This is a great opportunity to get riders into a bunch environment on a popular racing circuit.
These sessions are open to all East Midlands Clubs and riders.
Wednesday 8th August
Wednesday 22nd August
Wednesday 5th September
Wednesday 19th September
These sessions are for Youth riders only - Youth A, B, C - and are aimed at riders who want to progress in their sport, develop themselves on and off the bike in a non-racing environment. Aspects of the session will be physically demanding but the emphasis is on the skills and drills. Combining with other clubs brings a larger bunch of riders together to deliver real race and bunch scenario skills.
