Cycle Premier Racing Team has confirmed the signing of 24 year-old Stephen Adams from Nottingham who joins the team from Sigma Sports for 2012.

Adams will see early season action with the team in the final round of the National Cyclo-Cross Series and in the National Cyclo-Cross Championships in January before a well earned rest ready for the road season in March.

Adams said: “I’m really pleased to be onboard with Cycle Premier. I have seen the team grow from strength to strength over the past few years and I'm looking forward to mixing with the team.”

Cycle Premier’s Rod Freeman added: “We are delighted to welcome Steve to the team and are really excited about the experience he brings to the team on the road, criterium circuits and off road. I’m looking forward to seeing Steve and Michael (Berling) in action together in April at Dengie Marsh, Tour Doon Hame and Cicle Classic.”

The team has so far announced 11 of its 13 man squad for 2012. They are Stephen Adams (24), Michael Berling (29), Tom Black (21), Declan Byrne (18), Jamie Caldwell (21), Russell Falder (21), Richard Hepworth (24), Jake Martin (19), George Moore (18), Jon Mozley (24), Chris Pritchard (28).
