In the chase for Olympic qualification points, Britain has moved up in the World Tour road rankings as the men's final cut-off of October 16.

Cementing Britain's top-ten place - moving from ninth to seventh within the World Tour rankings - qualifies five riders to London 2012.

The move takes on further significance when considering the road World Championships in September - a key event for scoring further points and one which Mark Cavendish holds particular interest.

And in a race where teamwork and a strong lead out is key, points scored at the Tour Of Poland by Pete Kennaugh, Steve Cummings and Adam Blythe could be the difference between six and eight riders.
