The Surrey lanes around Virginia Water and Chobham hosted the 2011 National Masters Road Race Championships for 40 - 60 year olds.

The field raced around 3 interconnecting circuits that were not too brutal but would test the riders and provide worthy winners.

Although there were attacks all day it was not till the finishing circuit where 11 riders edge clear, but with the finishing lap only 5km long, they were never out of sight and on the line the race was almost back together.
