British Cycling's para-cycling technology revealed

Channel 4 take a look at the forward-thinking technology that's helping GB's Para-cyclists achieve out-of-this-world performances.

At the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games, GB topped the medal table in both track and road-cycling events with 17 gold medals; so what's the secret?

Well, apart from being able to count a whole bunch of talented riders in the team (including Paralympic gold medallist and world record holders Jody Cundy and Sarah Storey as well as exciting newcomers like Jon-Allan Butterworth) and hours of hard graft spent training all year round, the British road and track stars have some very special bikes at their disposal.

At the Paracycling National Championships in Manchester, Channel 4 caught up with GB's head coach Chris Furber to get the lowdown on these two-wheeled technological marvels and pick over the finer points of their silk tyres, "Dalek" arm attachments and more.
