This weekend sees two days of 4X action coming to Harthill, with a British round on Saturday and a Euro round on Sunday.

On Saturday, the Schwalbe British 4X Series moves into Cheshire for round 3, at the awesome Harthill track. Host to British Series rounds, National Championships and Euro Series races in the past, Harthill always delivers exciting racing and unpredictable results.

The first two rounds of the 2013 British Series have been nothing short of fantastic with record entries, plenty of new faces and racing from the top drawer.

Katy Curd and Manon Carpenter have been battling all year for the women's wins. So far it's a win each, but this weekend Carpenter will not be there.

However, with plenty of European riders coming over for the Euro round on Sunday, Curd will not have it all her own way. Lucia Oejten and Helene Fruhwirth will be pushing Curd all the way along with British riders, Cara Murray and Suzanne Lacey.

In the men's, Scott Beaumont took the opening round with Czech Republic rider Tomas Slavik winning round 2. That battle will resume again this weekend as both riders will be racing on both days.

In the men's race, there are a lot of European riders who are making the journey over so expect Michal Prokop, Hannes Slavik and Milan Mysik to be battling the Brits, including Isaac Mundy, Tom Dowie and Nate Parssons all the way.
