| Sunday 19th August

If the Olympic Games, and in particular the prospect of the Mountain Bike Races this coming weekend, have given you the inspiration and desire to get out on your bike then why not commence your own personal “Road to Rio” by coming down to Oaken Coppice, Storridge on Sunday 19th August to compete at the final round of the Back on Track Bash Series?

This beautiful wooded venue in the shadow of the Malvern Hills provides an abundance of course options, offering a fine blend of singletrack, technical features, climbs and descents. Developed by experienced riders, the trails used deliver a course that is both challenging to the regular racer but still fun and rideable for all. The compact nature of the venue also offers great opportunities for spectators and supporters to watch the racing around the course.

In addition to the substantial prize list, the number crunchers will be in attendance to calculate the results of the overall Series as each race finishes. Series trophies will be awarded for the top three in all categories.

Headline sponsors Back on Track will be in attendance, with a wide range of essential mountain bike kit, demo bikes from Orange, Giant and Pivot, plus some ‘Race Day Only’ extra special offers. Timing and results will be provided courtesy of Taptiming.

Entry

On line entry is still available and there is racing for all categories. There is also entry on the day available.

Online entry & Further Info

A few weeks ago the prospect of staging this event looked in serious jeopardy due to the weather, so the organisers are really pleased and excited to still be able to offer this race on the calendar and look forward to seeing you there.

If you have any further queries then please do not hesitate to contact Keith Evans, the lead organiser for this round, on keithevans@britishcycling.org.uk or 07940 302073.
