Entries for the British mountain bike marathon championships close on May 7 with no entry on the day available. The Championship event, to be held in Selkirk on May 20 will run alongside the Chain Reaction Cycles MTB Marathon Series and on a single 85km loop.

Championship entrants are required to hold a valid British Cycling Racing Licence, with the minumum age group of junior.

National jerseys for the winners of the Senior Male, Senior Female, Veteran Male and Veteran Female category will be given out as well as medals for the first three places in the aforementioned categories.

Any non-licence holders can still taek part in the non competitive marathon which will be run on the same fantastic course and will start after the British Championship riders take to the course.
