SMBC, the team behind the Southern Cross-Country Series and two previous very successful Cross-Country National Championships at Crow Hill in 2008 and Pippingford in 2010, will host the 2012 Cross-Country Championship at another one of our courses.

Wasing Park, now in its third year and already host to two Southern Cross-Country rounds - one incorporating the Southern Championships in 2011 and two very successful rounds of the British Mountain Bike Series.

In addition to the elite races on Sunday there are support races on the Saturday for those who don't feel ready for top level competition or don't have a race licence, friends and family along to support racers may fancy having a go too on a championship course. For anyone wanting to get an early preview of the National Championship course they can enter the Southern Cross-Country Round 3 on 13 May which is also the Southern Regional Championship.
