Exeter Mountain Bike Club and Mid Devon CC are organising a series of five Go-Ride Racing mountain bike events at Stover School, Newton Abbot. Working together with Go Ride Coach Justin Knox and Regional Events Officer Andrew Parker the events are designed to encourage more young riders to participate in Mountain Bike events.



A challenging course was laid out in the grounds of the school featuring technical sections in the woodland area and a sweeping descent through the fields back to the start finish area.

Thirty riders participated across the under 16 age groups with all riders building on their skills and enjoying some close fought racing.

The series of events continues on Monday 13th May. All proceeds from the racing will go towards the training of a new coach will be enable the clubs to hold coaching sessions.  Full details of the next event of the series can be found here.
