Great Britain's Mark Colbourne took a stunning victory in the C1 road race on day 2 of the 2013 UCI Para-cycling Road World Cup in Merano. Mark narrowly beat German rival Michael Teuber in a sprint finish at the end of the 10 lap town based centre circuit, to take his first road race win.

Earlier in the day, Jon Allan Butterworth had taken 10th place in the C5 road race run over a furious pace, won by Damian Severi from France.

Darren Kenny and Shaun Mckeown finished 8th and 13th respectively in the C3 road race, while Rachel Morris took her second 4th place of the competition in the H3 women.

Brian Alldis wrapped up day 2 with a 9th place in the H3 men’s race.

The final day of competition will see David Stone, Lora Turnham (piloted by Fiona Duncan) and Crystal Lane compete in their respective road races.
