Cyclists , and are all in the shortlist of twelve athletes who will be in contention for the 2012 BBC Sports Personality of the Year award. A public phone vote will decide the winner from the shortlist of 12 contenders during a live show on BBC 1 on the evening of Sunday 16 December 2012.

Why You Should Vote For Chris, Sarah or Bradley

Chris Hoy - A Keirin world title earlier in the year was a breathtaking starter before the main course at London 2012, where he won historic fifth and sixth Olympic gold medals to put himself at the top of the all-time gold medal list for British Atheletes.

Sarah Storey - At the 2012 Paralympic Games in London, Sarah Storey won no less than four gold medals (500m TT, pursuit, road race, time trial), matching Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson's record of 11 Paralympic golds.

Bradley Wiggins - For Bradley, a time trial gold at the Olympic Games was a delicious finale to a season where his first ever Tour de France win by a British cyclists overshadowed all else. It was a historic achievement by any measure.
