Event: from 20 September 2012
The GWR team Flood lit Winter cyclo cross series returns for four evening races during September and October, with the final held in daylight on the 14th October as part of the Wessex and Weston series.
The series begins on Thursday 20th September and finishes on Sunday 14th October, with all five rounds counting towards winning the overall prize, a free training camp with Cycling Holidays Spain.
With a fierce battle expected for overall victory in this unique series, GWR team can testify that winning the overall prize will be well worth the effort. Whilst the GWR team were away on a pre-season training camp, with Cycling Holidays Spain earlier this year, the team riders got to train alongside Astana, and also see team Saxo-Bank carryout training sessions using the same roads.
This year there will not be a prize presentation after each of the evening rounds, as all prizes shall be presented during one prize presentation on the 14th October 2012. So if you place in the top three senior or vetran or are the 1st placed Women or Junior rider in any of the night events make sure you come along on the 14th October to claim your prize!
Finally the last round on the 14th October, which is also a Weston and Wessex counting event, shall be in daylight race.
