Following a meeting of the British Cycling Cycle Speedway Commission, a new Elite League has been drawn up.

Poole and Horspath will both compete in a new Elite League

This league will comprise of six clubs which for 2012 will be Horspath, Ipswich, Leicester, Poole, Sheffield and Wednesfield.

A further six clubs will form a new Premier League. Clubs will be invited shortly to apply for a place in this league.

Regulations and further details in respect of the running of both leagues will be issued in the next day or so.
