Manchester U10's and U16's Individual Finals
Location: Stockport Cycle Speedway, Stockport
Event: 31 August 2011

Stockport hosted the re-arranged Manchester U10's and U16's Individual Finals on Wednesday evening.

Astley and Tyldesley's Adam Turnbull raced to a 16 point maximum to take the U10 title, finishing ahead of teammates Max Evans and Daniel Burns, who made it a clean sweep for A and T at this level. Adam Turnbull also received a trophy for winning the U10 Grand Prix series.

In the U16 event, Stockport duo Jack Lush and Jake Read opened with a win apiece, before Read held off a strong last bend challenge from Lush to narrowly win heat 4. Matt Turner won his two grid ones to put the pressure on the leading duo.

Disaster struck for Read when he suffered a gate exclusion in heat 8. This left Jack Lush clear to take the title after winning his last two races, ahead of team mates Joe Pickford and Matt Turner, as Stockport enjoyed a clean sweep at this level. There was some consolation for Jake Read as he received a trophy for winning the U16 Grand Prix series.
