A new £90,000 cycle speedway track has been opened at Graves Leisure Centre in Sheffield, home of the Sheffield Stars.
The Premier League club is the largest in the country with around 200 members, which club secretary Martin Gamble hopes to expand with the new facility.
Gamble told The BBC: "The track will enable us to extend our activities. Last year we attracted over 20 local schools to take part in our activities and schools championship competitions.
"The new facility is now one of the best in the north of England."
