Stockport hosted the sixth and final round of the Manchester League Grand Prix series with plenty of good racing on a fast and firm track.

Astley & Tyldesley's Adam Turnbull raced to a 16 points maximum score in the U-10 category, to clinch the overall series in fine style. His teammate Adam Phillips followed suit in the U-13 event, to go through the entire six round series without dropping a single point. Stockport duo Jake Read and Jack Lush top scored in the U-16 match, with 15 points apiece, dropping their only point to each other. Read's score was more than enough for him to clinch the U-16 series win.

Stockport's Ben Higham raced unbeaten in the U-19 category, to secure the overall win in that series. In the Senior match, Stockport duo Terry Norman and Ben Higham joint top scored with 15 points each - Norman losing only to Higham in heat 2, Higham losing only to Bury's Steve Ward in heat 8. Higham made it a double success by taking the overall Senior series win.
Stockport won both the Division 1 (senior) and Division 2 (junior) matches, to take the overall series wins in the team events.
