The Sunday Times Sportswomen of the Year Awards take place on Thursday 8 November and offers the chance to recognise the achievements of Great Britain’s female cyclists, coaches and volunteers in the sport.

Nominations are now open with 10 award categories including The Sunday Times Sportswoman of the Year, Coach of the Year and the Community Award, supported by Sport England.

The awards are an opportunity to celebrate the amazing performances of elite sportswomen, coaches, administrators and community projects in a year which has seen fantastic success at an elite level with the likes of Victoria Pendleton, Sarah Storey, Laura Trott and Lucy Garner all triumphant.

Nominations close at midnight on 15 October and following this, a judging panel, chaired by Radio Five Live presenter Eleanor Oldroyd, will decide on the shortlist for each category.
