Trailing her is Eva Young of Pedal Power RT, with Eve Barrow from Salt Ayre Cog Set third a further second back.

VCW Awol also lead the team classification after stage one, with a seven-second lead over Pink Jersey Race Team.

Hetton Hawks Cycling Club’s Ben Partridge was first in the Youth Boys B event, two seconds clear of Alfie Atterton with Dylan Edwards a further two seconds back.

And in the Youth Girls B race, Zoe Backstedt of Hotchillee was three seconds faster than second-placed Imani Pereira-James, with Grace Lister in third.
