British Cycling announces 2016 British BMX Series dates

British Cycling has today announced the dates for the 2016 British BMX Series.

After the success of the 2015 series, Blackpool and Telford have been introduced as new venues for next year, with the wide geographical spread of events intended to provide fantastic opportunities for riders and supporters from across the country to participate.

The 2016 series will begin at the National Cycling Centre in March, and end with the British Championships in Derby at the end of August.

British Cycling’s cycle sport manager Jonathan Day said: “We’re delighted to be able to announce the dates for the British BMX Series for 2016.

“The BMX National Series is the pinnacle of the British Cycling BMX events calendar and provides a great spectacle for the sport. The series also gives opportunities for riders to take part and enjoy competing in this fantastic sport at the highest level in this country.”
