Liam Phillips and Kyle Evans took a Great Britain Cycling Team one-two at rounds nine and 10 of the 2015 UEC BMX European Cup in Manchester.

The duo dominated the elite men’s racing at the National Cycling Centre on Friday and Saturday as the series came to a close.

“Nice way to end the 2015 season! Winning rounds 9 & 10 of the Euro Cup in Manchester,” Phillips wrote on Instagram.

The 26-year-old was victorious at the same venue back in April at the opening round of the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup, a title he went on to win for the second year in succession.

“It was great to end the season with two 2nd places at the last two rounds for the European series!” Evans added on Twitter.

In the elite women’s event, Charlotte Green took third and second place finishes respectively over the two rounds.

The competition carries qualifying points towards the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
