On Saturday 9th June Go-Ride club CC Hackney hosted their first Go-Ride Racing event at the Well STreet Common Festival.  Thirteen riders aged 5-16 battled it out on a surprisingly chilly Sunday in the opener of Cycling club Hackney's 2013 Grass Track League.

The organisers just about made themselves heard over the competing sounds of a brass band and a dog show but this didn't deter the riders from setting fast times in the 200m time trial before they were put into 3 age categories and raced scratch, points, devils, match sprints and an Italian pursuit as a finale.
