It’s not often you have the chance to spend a weekend with a double Olympic gold medallist – but how would you like to learn from the pro that is Geraint Thomas?
British Cycling has teamed up with five-star Bluestone National Park Resort in Pembrokeshire, West Wales to offer you the chance to join him for an exclusive cycling weekend at the luxury resort between Friday 19 and Monday 22 October.
You could spend the weekend with Geraint, enjoying two ride-outs, learning tactics and socialising at the all-weather facilities at Bluestone within the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
Geraint, who claimed gold with a world record time at the London Olympics in the men’s team pursuit, will lead a weekend at Bluestone passing on cycling tips and riding out on two routes.
“Returning to Wales for a few days escape in the stunning Pembrokeshire countryside is going to be a great chance to get some road cycling in and enjoy some time at Bluestone,” said Geraint.
The Geraint Thomas Cycling Weekend was first held at Bluestone last year, attracting keen cyclists from across the UK and even one from the United States.
The weekend includes two ride outs of up to 70 miles led by Geraint and two social evenings with him, including a welcome evening on the Friday night with a buffet meal, an afternoon buffet on the Saturday and Sunday lunch.
In addition, the prize winner will have use of the thermal rooms at Bluestone’s Well Spa throughout their stay to help them relax after a day’s cycling and can also book treatments, including massages to help relax those muscles.

Cyclists taking part should be able to cycle 70 miles at an average speed of between 12-16mph.
