Regular visitors to the British Cycling website will have noticed some significant changes to the Calendar and Results sections.

Feedback from you, our members, told us that you wanted a simple, reliable system to find event reports and other event related information. To this end, we have added a linking system, so that pre-event information, such as previews and start lists, and post-event coverage such as reports, image galleries and videos can all be found from an event's listing in the calendar.

In other words, if you want to see a report or some photos from a past event, you no longer have to rely upon the site search, but can instead quickly find the event via the calendar  and its easy-to use filter.

This streamlined filter is new too and allows you to narrow down your search based on: date, location (country, region & distance), type of event (discipline, classification, rider category) and also by keyword.

We now link all our race reports, image galleries, videos etc directly to events' listings in the calendar.

This system also enables us to link to reports, images, blogs, video etc anywhere online. This opens up the opportunity for you to share your online content with us and with other cyclists. So, if you took part in a British Cycling event and blogged about it; or if you wrote a report for your own or you club's website; or if you took images or video and put them on sites like Flickr and Youtube, send us the link. We'll have a look at all the links submissions we receive and link to the best so everyone can share it.

To share a link with us, send an email to editor@britishcycling.org.uk with "links" in the subject line, and don't forget to let us know the name and date of the event (please note, we can only link to content about British Cycling registered events - i.e. events on our calendar).

Finally, it's worth noting you can now quickly switch between the forward looking view of the calendar and the backward looking view via the tabs just below the filter: "Results & Reports" and "Upcoming Events"
