Applications for tickets for the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow close on 16 September so you’ll have to act fast if you don’t want to miss out.
Above: Glasgow city centre earlier in the year, hosting the British Cycling National Road Race Championships - a dress rehearsal for the city's staging of the Commonwealth Games road race next summer.
On 23 July 2014, elite athletes from 71 nations and territories will meet for 11 days of un-missable sporting action in Scotland’s largest and liveliest city.
The cycling events include road, mountain bike and track. The road events will take place in Glasgow city centre, the mountain biking at Cathkin Braes, scene of the recent British Cycling national cross country championships, while the track events will take place at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.
