We will soon be launching an exciting campaign to really bring to life how it feels to race your bike. It will celebrate the return of racing, aiming to get more riders of all ages and abilities involved in the sport as we re-build from the pandemic.
While racing is getting underway in all corners of the UK, we want to make sure it’s visible for everyone – and portrayed in the most honest way possible: by the people that are lining up to give it a go.
We're looking for riders who are relatively new to racing or complete beginners to share their stories and inspire others to get involved. Our approach will then be to follow you through several races as you train, prepare, pack your bag, warm up, race and debrief.
You’ll need to be happy to appear in front of a camera – and to share your own updates via self-filmed video and photography. You don’t need any professional skills for this though!
There are lots of ways to race your bike and we want to hear from riders taking part in BMX, MTB gravity, track, speedway, MTB endurance, cyclo-cross and road. This covers all ages, but again please remember we want to hear from riders who are relatively new to the sport. This is all about celebrating the start of the journey and showing that racing is a brilliant day out regardless of where you finish.
If you’re interested in taking part, it would be great to get a few details from you.
