Go-Ride at Minera SchoolMinera School

An early start to 2008 Go-Ride Cycle Sport Skills sessions came recently at Minera Primary School, Wrexham, when Jon Harland (Club Development Manager-North) and Rhyl CC BC Level 2 coach Richard Mills put the children through their paces over a three hour afternoon period.

Thanks to Stephanie Morris, 5 x 60 officer with Wrexham CBC, Head Teacher Mr. Partridge (father of international Welsh racing cyclist Rob Partridge) and two officers of North Wales Police (who security-marked the children's' bikes), the afternoon was a great success.

All participants were given details of how they can continue to progress in the sport out of school hours, particularly with weekly Saturday Coed Llandegla NWMBA coaching only a few miles away. For more details of these coaching sessions contact Jon on 07816825691 or email jon.harland@welshcycling.co.uk.
