Conditions could not have been more perfect for the National Road Race Championships based out of Abergavenny at the weekend. Large crowds were treated to feast of exciting racing from all three events. Nicole Cooke fans were not disapointed as she claimed her tenth title and Jon Mould was in the thick of the action in the Junior event.

On July the 4th the Dragon Xc series and Welsh XC Championship’s come to Pontypool park for the first time since the 90’s for a epic battle on this tough and demanding circuit designed by Welsh racer and local boy Anthony O Boyle.
