It is your duty as a competition rider to familiarise yourself with British Cycling's anti-doping regulations and the list of banned substances and methods.

Warning! Please Check With British Cycling if in Doubt
Many of banned drugs appear either alone or as mixtures in medication under a commercial title. It is thus essential that, should there be any doubt, expert advice should be sought by the competitor from a doctor, pharmacist BEFORE taking any medication. The lack of the knowledge that a particular substance is banned shall not constitute grounds for any appeal against a charge in respect of a breach of the UCI or BCF Anti-Doping Regulations.
