Lifeforce Immune System Bank Plc Announces Restructure:  Sponsorship for Sporting Events Suspended

Posted 30/05/08

Following recent corporate restructuring of Lifeforce, sports sponsorship by the Company has been suspended.

Friday, 30 May 2008 - Lifeforce Immune System Bank Plc. announces today that future sports sponsorship deals are suspended. Previous years have seen Lifeforce commit to significant sponsorships across a diverse range of sporting activities, but most noticeably cycling and motor racing in the belief this would lead to increased sales of its services.  However, the Company believes the sponsorship has not yielded expected sales results.

Since the departure of Mr. Del Delaronde we have been contacted by a number of sporting organisations requesting sponsorship and equipment.  Lifeforce can only consider requests that are supported by documentary evidence to establish that a contractual arrangement exists.

Verbal agreements made with Mr. Delaronde should be addressed directly to him.  Unfortunately we cannot consider any claims that are not adequately documented. Please be aware that Mr. Delaronde is no longer an employee, contractor or Director of Lifeforce.

About Lifeforce Immune System Bank Plc:

Lifeforce Immune System Bank samples and stores an individual’s immune system when they are fit and healthy, and before age, disease, drugs or radiation have seriously damaged it.  Should the individual subsequently fall ill, their stored immune system cells can be used as a means of reinstating functionality, and thereby helping them fight their illness.  Boosting the immune system has been shown to be therapeutically valuable in treating a wide variety of cancers, chronic viral infections and other illnesses.  Moreover, Lifeforce banks stem cells from umbilical cord and from adults, for potential use in regenerative therapy of heart disease, diabetes and brain disease.  The Lifeforce service involves sampling and fractionating cells using a fully closed process that ensures complete sterility of the sample.  This is followed by cryopreservation at almost – 200°C, at three separate locations to ensure security.  The Company was founded in 2002, and is based in Newport, South Wales, with offices in the US and worldwide.
