Tywyn Criteriums all set for a fine days racing!
Building on the great success of last years criteriums, Dysynni Cycling Club again hosts the Tywyn Criteriums on Saturday August 5th this year.
The event, run in the seaside town of Tywyn, with a large crowd of holiday makers and supporters ever present, includes a series of sea front races incorporating the Youth and Senior Welsh National Closed Circuit Championships. The programmes also includes an open 3/4/J/W race, for which entries in the day will be accepted, subject to room (you are advised to pre enter!!).
Racing this year has been brought forward to start at 2pm, and will conclude with the E/1/2 championship at 5.30pm, leading to a great day's fun and events for all the family.
Camping and caravanning can also be found at the local camp site - Ynysymaengwyn - with cyclists made to feel very welcome. The weekend would make an ideal club ride and activity!
An open youth ride (also open to bigger riders!) is also being discussed for the Sunday morning around this picturesque area for those staying in the area overnight. More details to follow!
