Forest of Dean Fun Mtb Series - Monday, May 5th

Last three races in the Welsh Youth Mtb Series are now here!!

 

This is a popular event now in the Forest of Dean but there is space for a few more, if you are looking for something to do with the kids this weekend, how about introducing them to the delights of MTB racing in the Forest of Dean, bring your school friends and give them a race.... if you haven't raced your mountain bike yet, there's never been a better time to give "XC" a go!!

So it's back down the Forest for round 5 with 2 more to go, one near Carmarthen and another near Abergavenny; the forecast is Sunny but it is a Bank Holiday this weekend so bring your brolly.

I have put a few extra twists in the trail, so Monday May 5th is the day!! We look forward to seeing you!!

 

Mike Anstice with RDFCC have put on a series of 3 races for under 16's in the Forest of Dean. The races are short course, multi-lap, which have proved popular not only with the kids but parents too, as they could shout their support, making it an enjoyable experience for all and a brilliant introduction to mtb racing.

 

Signing in from10.00am till 11.45am

Under 10/12, 15minutes @ 12.00pm

Under 14/16, 30 minutes @12.30pm
Under 8, 8/10 minute @13.15pm
Course closed 13.30

Towy Rider - Llyn Llech Owain - Sunday May 11th

Abergavenny RC - Parc Cwm Darran - Final event and prize giving - Saturday May 17th!!
