Dragon Series 2007 - standings so far

With the two out of three rounds of the 2007 Dragon Series completed, many categories are going to come down to the wire in the last round on September 9th near Brecon.

With a win apiece, Jonathon Pugh and Lee Williams are tied for the overall win in the elite male category. Rob Friel holds an unassailable lead in expert male, although has to ride the third round to qualify for his medal,  but behind him six riders are within a nail biting six points of each other. All to play for! The veteran male category is also hard-fought with the top four riders, Mark James, Peter Turnbull, Keith Sheridan and Matt Scrase having ridden both the first and second rounds and in the running for a series victory. Robert Rowe and John Lloyd hold respectable leads in the masters and grand vets category respectively while sport remains one of the closest categories with Ben Thomas having twelve points over Christopher Andrews and Dave Evans within one point of each other in 2nd and 3rd.

In the women's categories, low entries leave many of the titles open for the taking: Lucy Marshall (expert) and Kate Betts (masters) remain favourites but will have to stay on their toes for the final round. The same applies to the youth and junior categories: Ben Roff and Sion O'Boyle hold unbeaten records but will need to ensure they make the final round to walk off with the title.
