There will also be a great opportunity for bikers to book onto some technical coaching sessions to improve their skills. Also on the Saturday there will be a marked ride specifically for women, to encourage female mountain bikers to come along and bring a friend, borrow a bike and 'have a go'!

This will be a highly significant event in the early history of Clwb Beicio Mynydd Dyffryn Conwy and the success of securing the festival is due to the hard work and determination of volunteer members of the Club in partnership with Conwy County Borough Council, North West Wales Outdoor Partnership, Snowdonia Cycle Hire and Training, Sports Council for Wales, Forestry Commission Wales, Menter Iaith Conwy and Bwrdd Iaith Cymraeg.
Speaking on behalf of the North West Wales Outdoor Partnership, development officer Arwel Elias said, "Events like these are so important to increasing participation in outdoor activities creating a common platform for participation, fun and achievement as well as creating a sustainable use and understanding of the natural environment that's around us. This will be a mountain biking festival the like of which has never been seen before in North Wales and with more events like this we may start to change the perception of outdoor activities among local people".
Richard Hemington the Managing director for Specialized said that these events are all about the consumer, giving them the opportunity to try our product and to take part in the challenge series whatever their ability.
