Gower Bike Ride - Sunday 1 July 2007
Posted - 8th May 2007
The British Heart Foundation's biggest cycling event in Wales returns to the Gower, so why not join in this popular event and have a great day out!
Choose from two routes, 16 and 29 miles around the beautiful Gower Peninsula starting and finishing at St Helens ground, Swansea.
The 16 mile route covers over half its distance on a cycle path whilst the 29 mile route ventures further West towards the stunning Gower Coastline.
You can start anytime between 8:00am and 10:00am but we do ask you to be back at the finish line by 4:00pm to collect your medal and goodie bag!
This year the Gower Bike Ride is supported by the Sports Council for Wales.
There are various entry fees to take part - £10 for adults, £5 for 12-16 year olds, and £25 for families. These registration fees are to register in advance only as a higher fee will apply if you register on the day.
So why not take a day out to enjoy the beautiful Gower countryside this summer, and help the BHF to raise life-saving funds.
