Philippe gets on the ferry
A French friend and member of the Tricycle Association, Philippe Meyer, has donated his tricycle to the Welsh team.
Philippe came across the English Channel to arrive in Cardiff on Saturday to donate his very well maintained Longstaff tricycle which is in excellent condition.
Jon Morgan FDSW CEO, Gareth John FDSW Chairman and Neil Smith FDSW Cycling Coach met with Philippe who was very interested in the world of Disability Sport in Wales.
A presentation took place where Philippe was given a framed photograph of the FDSW Academy Athletes with Lord Sebastian Coe as a token of appreciation for his very kind and generous gift.
The trike will be now be used to help one of the academy athletes

Trikes play a very important part in Paralympic Cycling with both a road race and time trial in Bejing 2008 for Cerebral Palsy athletes. Britain's David Stone presently holds both World Titles.
