Busy Weekend for East Newport CSC
Report 16-17 Sept 2006
East Newport Cycle Speedway Club had a busy weekend with the focus firmly fixed on junior racing. On Saturday at Swindon's Oasis Leisure centre circuit Aaron Hughes took his third match win of the 2006 season at Swindon keeping him firmly on top of the pile as we lead into the final round at Exeter next month. His brother Ryan made it a family double by winning the U18 category a few hours later. Both brothers have been instrumental in the keeping the East Newport name on the score sheet in the South West this year and a special mention must got parents Bev and Rich for all the hard work they have put into the club this year.
