Points will be awarded for the first twelve placed riders in each round as follows- 30, 25, 21, 17, 14, 12, 10, 9, 7, 6, 5, 4.
The overall result of each area competition shall be determined by the points total achieved by each rider, with the best three points scores to count. The top eight overall placed riders in the Youth A & B categories and the top six overall placed riders in the Youth C category from each area will qualify for the national final. Where there is a tie on points for the eighth/sixth placed riders in the overall standings in any category area competition, then all such placed riders shall qualify for the final.
