DAY 3 - SUNDAY
Bruce Croal (City of Edinburgh RC) reatined his title in the kilometre time trial. Last man to go, he beat the time set by Ivor Reid by more than 2.5 seconds to record 1.8.22. Ross Crook (Edinburgh RC) took bronze.
Kate Cullen (City of Edinburgh RC) retained the Womens Pursuit title, completing a clean sweep of the womens track titles. In the final she caught Eileen Roe (Dunfermline CC). Maddie Robinson (Border City Wh), took bronze in her first Scottish Championships, beating former Scottish Judo internationalist Jenny Davies in the ride off.
Toby Sherwood, fresh from his open Sprint bronze medal success from yesterday was a comfortable winner of the Junior sprint title beating Keiron McMahon in the final. The bronze medal tride off was an all female affair with the youth of Kayleigh Brogan (Evans RT) getting the better of Daisy Sherwood.
Patrick Galbraith (Equipe Velo Ecosse) took the Youth Pursuit title and in the process set ne scottish records for both Youth A over 2000m and Youth B over 1500m. Magnus Davidson (Cube Bikes/Square Wheels) took silver and Calum McLean (Stirling BC) bronze.
The Youth B and C Omniums once again provided excellent entertainment and controversy. Edinburgh Racers took a clean sweep of the medals in the Youth B omnium with Kyle Yates, Douglas Ritchie and Ben Muir. Nick Hunter and Craig Owen took gold and silver in the Youth C omnium on the same points, Hunter getting the top spot as a result of the better placing in the final event. Mark Stewart (Discovery Juniors CC) took bronze after leading the competition after the first two events only to pull his foot twice at the start of the final event the 500m TT, and as a result was prevented from recording a time and was awarded maximum points in the event.

DAY 2 - SATURDAY
Marco Librizzi (City of Edinburgh RC) retained his Scottish Sprint Championship coming up against clubmate Bruce Croall in the final. However Croall could not match the power of Librizzi who won comfortably 2-0 in the final. City of Edinburgh RC made a clean sweep in the competition with junior rider Toby Sherwood outfoxing the everpresent Ivor Reid (Clachnacuddin CC) in an enthrauling 3 match encounter for the bronze. Ried took the first match with Sherwood going for a 3 lap all out effort in the second to square the match. The third ride saw Sherwood try the same tactic again going from the gun but Reid was more aware this time. Reid made his presence felt agaianst the less experience rider in an attempt to force an error however Sherwood held his nerve and eventaully out jumped Reid to take the Bronze.

Arthur Doyle (Ivy CC) retained his Scottish Pursuit title, nearly catching opponent David Black (Sandy Wallace Cycles) in the final. Again the ride for 3rd place was altogether a closer affair with Kevin Barclay (Plowman Craven RT) narrowly beating junior rider Petter Ettles (Pedal Power RT).
Peter Ettles Snr (Forres CC) retained his Veteran Pursuit title in a repeat of last years final, again getting the better of Alastair Taylor (Musselburgh RCC). Graham Barclay (Kirkaldy & Dist CC) took bronze.
The Youth sprint competition again was outstanding with Kevin Stewart (Discovery Juniors CC) taking his second Scottish title of the weekend, this time beating clubmate Jamie Bremner 2-0 in the final. Magnus Davidson (Cube Bikes/Square Wheels) had a similar result for Bronze against Patrick Galbraith. Galbraith had some consolation in the earlier qualification, lowering his own Youth B age category Scottish and Allcomers Record for 200m. Kayleigh Brogan (Evans RT) also took her second Scottish and Allcomers record of the weekend, this time lowering the Youth A Girls Scottish and Allcomers record previously held by Eileen Roe. Both records were unexpected in very blustery conditions.

Windy conditions greeted the competitors on the first evening session of the Scottish Track Cycling Championships at Meadowbank Velodrome, Edinburgh however this did nothing to dampen the competition.
Kate Cullen (City of Edinburgh RC) retained her Women's 500m TT title from last year with youth rider Kayleigh Brogan (Evans Cycles RT) taking second place ahead of Scottish Judo Champion and convert to cycling Jenny Davies (City of Edinburgh RC).
Kayleigh Brogan had earlier set a new Youth A Girls Scottish and Allcomers record in the Youth 500m TT event to a new mark of 38.77sec. In the same event, Kevin Stewart (Dundee Discovery Juniors CC) lowered the Youth A Scottish and Allcomers 500m record to 36.25sec in taking the title ahead of Jamie Bremner (Dundee Discovery Juniors CC) and Patrick Galbraith (Equipe Velo Ecosse)
City of Edinburgh RC retained their 100% record in the Scottish Team Sprint championship beating Dundee Discovery Juniors team.
In the Junior Pursuit, Peter Ettles (Pedal Power RT) comfortably beat Keiron McMahon (City of Edinburgh RC) just failing to catch his opponent in the final. Toby Sherwood (City of Edinburgh RC) edged out Tom Dempster in the bronze medal ride off.
