Left: Newly crown triple World Junior Champion Jason Kenny as he sets a high standard 11.34s in the opening 200m time trial round of the International Sprint Competition. Jason was only bettered by Britains Matt Crampton in 11.32s and South Africa's Morne Blignaut with a stunning 11.07s in very windy conditions. Britain's Ross Edgar was fourth with 11.53s. Right: Jason Kenny leads out his 2nd round heat with Ross Edgar who is thinking out the key move to knock out the triple World Champion.
Ross Edgar beats Jason Kenny in a closely contested heat by only half a wheel. Edgar goes through to the Semi Final whilst Kenny looks forward to the ride off for 5th & 6th place.
South African Morne Blignaut walks back from a heavy crash in which Britain's Marco Librizzi take match A of the Semi Final. Match B between Librizzi & Blignaut finished 2-0 with Blignaut clearly suffering from the crash.
Edgar takes Match B to put him through to the ride off for 1st & 2nd with Librizzi. Last years winner Crampton has to settle with 3rd place by way of a ride over as Blignaut withdraws because of his injuries.
Trinidad & Tobago's Elisha Green leads out Britain triple World Champion in the ride off for 5th & 6th places. Green is clearly not strong enough to beat the younger Jason Kenny.
The Match Final of the 2006 International Grand Prix Sprint saw two Experienced Britain's taking the start with Edgar leading out. Librizzi manoeuvred numerous times tactically but could not outwit Edgar who took victory 2-0.
Brereton Wheelers's Steve Cronshaw takes the victory in the Halesowen Sprint.
Trinidad & Tobago's Elisha Green wins the Dudley Open Handicap event.
James McCallum theBicycleworks.com takes the overall points win in the Dudley Danish Pursuit event
