In another display of powerful solo riding, Chris McNamara solo'd to another fine victory on Sunday 6th July to win the Toachim House GP in Kent, and take the £1,000 first prize. After a fairly neutral first lap, Chris instigated a decisive break of nine that stayed away together until the smaller finishing circuit. With about ten miles to go, Chris attacked up the finishing hill, leaving his breakaway companions and persisted on his own, winning by two minutes.

Chris was supported by brother Simon in a chase group who finished 7th as well as Jason Edwards, Mark Sussex and Mark Daly who all finished well in the bunch. Chris was really impressed with the organisation of the race, and especially pleased with the generous prize money of £1000 cash. Next week is the London Dynamo promotion around the Handcross circuit where Chris will be attempting to make it 3 in a row.
