Wild Side Road Team are having a winning season so far. One of the strongest teams on the south east has achieved eight race victories. Currently they are ranked 14th in the national team rankings and leading rider Chris McNamara is nudging the top 10 of the individual rankings. Support is still received from Wild Side cycle shop in Tundbridge Wells, with Specialized equipment and Continental Tyres with SIS nutrition products. Ewhurst Controls continue to support the team also.

Chris has finished second in some big races so far, the Les Ingham memorial and the regional championships to name a few. This weekend though, he got that big win of the year in the Cycle Kingdom Classic against a quality field. Chris was aggressive from the off and drove the breaks that he found himself in. At the foot of the last climb he was with John Veness and Wouter Sybrandy, leaving them to take the win.

Jason Edwards has hit a patch of form and has won the last two Dunsfold circuit races in succession. Dunsfold circuits are a replacement for the well renowned Goodwood Gallops races. He is a strong contender for the overall competition again this year.

Belgium trips have continued, with monthly forays in the kermesse world. Steve Skuse and Mark Daly have been crossing swords with he Belgians and making front groups in a regular basis. The rest of the team have been going out there too, with success and the training benefit of Belgian Racing.

Mark Sussex has continued his excellent work ethic and assisted Jaco Ehlers in winning the fourth stage of the recent Pearson Cycles 5 Day in Sussex by chasing down the leading group and keeping the pace high for the final sprint. Simon McNamara has reached some good form and a win at Dunsfold is evident of that.

James Makepeace managed his one win of the year at Dunsfold in April, but is now recovering from his crash in May.
