The final T-Mobile Team roster of nine riders to start the London Prologue will be selected from Lorenzo Bernucci (27/Italy), Marcus Burghardt (23/Germany), Mark Cavendish (22/Great Britain), Bernhard Eisel (26/Austria), Andreas Klier (31/Germany), Linus Gerdemann (24/Germany), Bert Grabsch (31/Germany), Giuseppe Guerini (36/Italy), Roger Hammond (33/ Great Britain), Kim Kirchen (28/Luxembourg), Axel Merckx (34/Belgium), Michael Rogers (27/Australia) and Patrik Sinkewitz (27/Germany).

“We want to start the race with the strongest team available to us,“ says Head of Sport Management Rolf Aldag. Already sure of his place is Michael Rogers, who will be the team’s designated rider for the General Classification. “Michael has natural leadership qualities. He has shown that on several occasions already this year,“ added Aldag.

Hammond is currently riding the Tour of Switzerland whilst Cavendish is over in Holland, riding a stage race there, providing both with an ideal buildup to the Tour.
