| Hillingdon Grand Prix | 17 May |
At the purpose built Hillingdon Cycle Circuit in West London, Graham Briggs (Rapha Condor) won the opening round of the British Cycling Elite Circuit Series after 50 miles around the near mile long circuit. British Cycling was there to bring you a report, results and lots of pictures.
| Smithfield Circuit Races | 7 June |
It was a very special evening in London on Saturday as a classy field converged on the city centre for the Smithfield Nocturne. The elite field, led by pro-tour star Geraint Thomas lit the place up in a spectacular race around the city streets. And to the delight of the crowd, the winner was indeed Tour of Italy finisher and World record holder Geraint Thomas.
| Brentwood Criteriums | 8 June |
It was a busy weekend of town centre cycle racing in the Brentwood on Sunday with no less than three National Series events taking place and British Cycling was their to capture the action. Dean Downing, Alex Greenfield, Joe Perret and Jonathan Dibben were the winners on the big day.
| Brighouse Criteriums | 10 June |
The third Elite Circuit Series race in four days took place in the West Yorkshire town of Brighouse and what a night of action it was. The main course certainly gave the crowd their fill of fast and furious action with Malcolm Elliott winning the race in superb style from Tom Murray in a Pinarello 1-2.
| Stone Criteriums | 18 June |
The British Cycling Elite Circuit Series moved on to Stone in Staffordshire for the latest round of this popular national series. Winner on a wet and blustery night was Malcolm Elliott who won alone whilst Peter Williams won the sprint for second from series leader Dean Downing in front of a great crowd.

The British Cycling Elite Circuit Series travelled to the Yorkshire town of Otley for a very wet and blustery race that was won by Graham Briggs of the Rapha Condor team. Second in the race was Russell Downing and third Tony Gibb.

| Rochdale GP | 2 July |
On a fine and sunny evening in Rochdale, Rapha Condor rider Chris Newton won his third Rochdale GP but unlike last year's solo win, this year it was close -- real close -- as he beat Russell Downing in a photo finish with Kristian House escaping the bunch to get third.
| Blackpool Grand Prix | 4 July |
In a glorious night of racing in Blackpool under sunny skies, Rob Hayles showed who was number 1 on the night For Hayles it was confirmation, if needed, he is one of the top riders in the country -- number 1 as befits the British Road Race champion. | Colne GP | 16 July |
The 9th round of the British Cycling Elite Circuit Series was held in Colne, Lancashire on Wednesday night in front of a large crowd who witnessed local rider Ian Wilkinson of the Science in Sport/Trek team claim a lone victory. Malcolm Elliott was second and Russell Downing third. British Cycling was there.
| London Grand Prix | 7 September |
The warm up race for the first stage of the Tour of Britain in London was a round of the Elite Circuit Series. With a number of the series leaders taking part in the Tour of Britain, the stage was set for some new stars to make a name for themselves. In a nail biting finish of the London Grand Prix, Billy Jo Whenman managed to just grab the victory under the nose of Liam Holohan who had broken away with a lap to go and just ran out of legs.
| Travelwise Warwick Town Centre Circuit Races | 14 September |
Always a big draw for the crowds, the Warwick Circuit Races in this very historic city located in Shakespear's county (Warwickshire) once again produced the goods with a great day of racing. Pearl Izumi's Jeroen Janssen took the honours in the Elite Men's race in a sprint finish from Ian Wilkinson and Graham Briggs whose third place secured the series win in a 1-2 for the men in black -- Rapha Condor.
