Salt Ayre League - Event 3

Ian McVety has sent us some pictures of round 3 of the Salt Ayre midweek circuit race league for Elite, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th category riders. Entries for the league are on the line only and you can find the racing by going to the Sports Centre in Salt Ayre Lane, Lancaster, LA1 5JS. Racing starts at 6.30pm.

Note:

The Salt Ayre Cycling Association have had to cancel several events, due to the Salt Ayre Circuit being closed during May for resurfacing and improvement works. The works were planned for March 2008, prior to the racing season but had been delayed. Work will include widening the track in key areas, re-surfacing, installing ducting for future lighting and surfacing of a skills area as well as permanent signing.

The Association have therefore been forced to cancel the following events: Salt Ayre League race 4 on 6th May; race 5 and youth race on 13th May; race 6 and youth race on 20th May; race 7 and youth race on 27th May.
